Realms of Courage: Celebrating Asian Women Composers (2021 - )

A project amplifying 15 contemporary composers and their music through written reflections, visual art, and educational programming.

Funded by California Arts Council (CAC), a state agency, San Francisco Arts Commission (SFAC), and Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center (APICC). Supported by YouthSpeaks and Dr. Sue-Je Lee Gage Residency for Human Rights and Social Justice.

猛女下山 Meng Nu Xia Shan (2025 -)

Translation: “Fierce Women Descend the Mountain”

An original epic about 8 horse archers who enact against justice against misogyny. The character development of the horse archers is inspired by 32+ historical Asian women changemakers.

A multimedia chamber concert series featuring Asian and Pacific Islander women composers, performers, and artists.

In collaboration with Insight Chamber Players. Supported by Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center (APICC). Featured in the 28th Annual United States of Asian America Festival - Critical Refuge in May 2025.
